Obituary
Dorothy Guenigault
Dorothy was one of our supporters from many years ago. She lived in Pevensey Bay and died early in November aged 92. Tony attended the cremation ceremony at Eastbourne where the priest remarked during the service how nice it was to see a representative from our Charity in the congregation since Dorothy had been passionate about her love for horses and their welfare. After the service the mourners then met up at the Bay Hotel in Pevensey where there were many reminiscences over Dorothy’s life. Brownbread Rescue offers our sincere condolences to the family and much appreciate all that Dorothy has done for the Charity.
Obituary
Mr Johnson
(Mike Johnsons father)
Mike happens to be away at the time of writing this Newsletter, however our Trustees wish to thank Mike and the family for their consideration of this Charity at the time of their bereavement. Whether or not it was in lieu of flowers we know not but there were several generous cheques donated to our cause which arrived after the funeral. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Mike and the family. Mike is one of our very staunch supporters who was a key person co-ordinating the arrival of the Greek donkeys to Brownbread. We value his tremendous support and are pleased to have him visit us and the donkeys every week that he is able.
